Connecting your DPD.ie and Shiptheory accounts is easy. The guide below will take you through how -
Before you start...
You will need to contact DPD.ie to request they open a specific API account for you. Once opened, you will need to get a few details about the account. These include a Username, Password and Authentication Header. We will need these details to connect your accounts.
Connecting DPD.ie
From any page in Shiptheory, click on your username in the top-right blue menu and select the Manage Carriers option from the drop-down menu:
On the next page, scroll down until you see DPD.ie listed, click on it to enable it.
The carrier will be activated on your Shiptheory account and you will be redirected to the DPD.ie carrier settings Page.
Enter your Username, Password and Authentication Header as give to you by your DPD Account Manager, select your default currency and enter a general description of the goods you will be shipping with DPD into the respective fields on the page.
Once you have entered your details, click the Test Connection button below to verify your details are correct and Shiptheory can connect to your account. All going well, you should see this:
If you receive an error, double-check you have typed your DPD credentials correctly and try again.
