When booking in your WooCommerce orders through Shiptheory, you might get the following error:
"Failed to update WooCommerce. 403 error connecting to WooCommerce."
The reason this may be happening is that you have a firewall set up on your WooCommerce, and it is stopping Shiptheory from updating the order again with tracking information.
How Can I Fix This?
To stop this, you should ask your system administrator to whitelist the IP addresses and Ports that Shiptheory uses at both your WebHost and any proxies. The IP's and Ports Shiptheory uses are listed below:
- 67.227.254.115
- 69.16.195.57
- 172.94.14.108
- 185.52.109.17
- 18.134.120.59
- 81.133.234.202
- 5.10.27.39:443 (For automatic desktop printing only)
The ports Shiptheory uses are 80, 443 and 6123.
If the issue persists after adding the IP address above, double-check your Cloudflare settings to ensure the changes were properly saved. On some plans, particularly the free tier, IP allowlist rules or security configurations may not remain active as expected or could be limited. If that’s the case, you may need to review your plan’s capabilities or consider upgrading to a Pro plan to ensure IP whitelisting is enabled.
