It only takes 2 minutes to connect your Samos and Shiptheory accounts. The guide below will get you up-and-running booking shipments in no time!


Before you Start

You will need to first request API credentials from your Samos account manager.


Connecting your account

From any page in Shiptheory, click on your username in the top-right blue menu and select the Manage Carriers option from the drop-down menu:


From the next page, scroll down to Connect a New Carrier Account and click on the Samos logo to activate the courier on your Shiptheory account:

You will then be redirected to the Samos Account Details page

Enter your API key and set a default currency (to add to customs docs if not otherwise specified)


Click the Test Connection button below to verify your details are correct and Shiptheory can connect to your account. All going well, you should be greeted with success:

If you receive an error response, double-check you have entered your API Key correctly and try again. If you're using the API Key sent to you by Samos, check the details with your Samos Account Manager or contact our support team.
