If you have not yet connected Katana with Shiptheory, refer to the Katana setup guide here.
Once connected, you can set a trigger for when your Katana Sales Orders are pulled down. The options are the following:
- Created - a sales order will pull into Shiptheory when you create a sales order in any status
- Packed - a sales order will pull into Shiptheory when you change your sales order's status to 'Packed'
- Delivered - a sales order will pull into Shiptheory when you change your sales order's status to 'Delivered'
Here is an example of pulling a sales order into Shiptheory as a shipment when the sales order's status has been changed to 'Packed'.
Once you've got a shipment in Shiptheory, you can view the shipment, select a carrier and print your label as shown below.
Alternatively, you can setup automatic shipping rules so that you never need to login to Shiptheory, and all the shipping label, tracking number and label printing work is done in the background, based on a formula you setup. For more information, see the automatic shipping rule guide.
