If you use a weighing scale that inputs weight values in a different format, meaning that the decimal point may be in a different place than you expect; there is a setting within Shiptheory to ensure the weights are still sent correctly.

To access this, head to the Weighing Scales Settings page and find the following setting:



You can then weight a product and view the weight it is read as. If the decimal point is in a different place than you'd expect, you can adjust it with the arrows. Shiptheory will then do this automatically for you whenever you weight something with these scales.

For example, if you weighted a product and saw weight as 20, but expected a weight of 2.0, you can adjust the decimal point as required and hit save.
