Before getting started make sure you have the following information available. If you don't have this information readily to hand or don't know what it is, then please contact your Australia Post account manager.
- Australia Post Account Number
- Australia Post API Key
- Australia Post API Password
To add a new Australia Post integration navigate to the courier management page.
Find Australia Post in the integration list and click on it to add it as a new integration. You will be redirect to the Australia Post integration settings.
Insert your Austria Post credentials in the fields provided. These are required to make a connection with Australia Post.
Additionally, you will need to supply a set of default package dimensions which Shiptheory can use in the absence of package sizes and a default currency which Shiptheory can use if your shipments are missing currency data. Additionally you will need to supply a description of goods if you plan on shipping with Australia Post internationally.
Once you have filled in the fields above you can run a connection test to verify that everything is set up correctly. If you are using tests credentials for Australia Post, then you will need to switch to test mode by opening the advanced settings at the bottom of the page.
If you see a green tick then your credentials are correct. Hit "Save" to make sure your changes are persisted and to prompt Shiptheory to download your shipping services from Australia Post.
