There are two ways you can direct your customers to a tracking page for their shipments - one for once a shipment is booked with a carrier and you have a shipment tracking number, and one if you need to share a link before a tracking number is available.
If you have a tracking number
https://tracking.st?tracking={tracking number}
Simply replace {tracking number} with your shipment's tracking number, and Shiptheory will take care of the rest. For example: https://tracking.st?tracking=315354563156122
If you don't yet have a tracking number
If you need to send an email to a customer before your shipment has been confirmed with a carrier, you can use the following format to generate a tracking link. The link will show progress once a tracking number becomes available.
https://tracking.st?code={your company code}&order_id={order ID}&postcode={shipment postcode}
your company code - head to https://shiptheory.local/company_tracking/edit. An example URL is provided at the top of the page that contains your unique company code. For example:
order_id - You can enter any of the shipment or order IDs for your shipment in Shiptheory
shipment postcode - Your receiver's postcode
For example, with the following details:
your company code - a1b2c3d4
order ID - ORD-32451
shipment postcode - BS43PT
