One parcel per shipment

Maersk currently only supports one parcel per shipment. Please make sure that bookings only contain 1 parcel otherwise your shipment bookings will fail.


Setup Shiptheory package to match Maersk package names

Maersk supports shippment with package. All you need to do is to name your package to match with Maersk's supported names:

  • BOX
  • ENVELOPE
  • TUBE
  • IRREGULAR
  • OVERSIZE


To setup Shiptheory package to match package Maersk 's names, goto Settings >Package Sizes and click on 

'Add New Package Size'




Enter the name, dimensions and set it as Package like below:



Cick Save to add the new package.


To ship with package


In Shiptheory, select a shipment and select Create Labels:



In the shipment popup window, select Maersk as carrier and choose the services. Under Package, select a package and enter the weight like below.  Click Create Labels to book the shipment.




Ship with default Dimensions


Maersk requires parcel dimensions when booking a shipment. If your booking doesn't include these details, Shiptheory will use the following default dimensions. Please enter the dimensions in Maersk setting.
