Some couriers require specific references from within Amazon's internal systems to make a successful booking. Shiptheory is capable of storing both the Amazon Order ID and Amazon Item IDs. Please consult the following lists below to see which channels and couriers support this feature:


Supported Integrations

Channels which save the Amazon Order ID:

  • Amazon (Saved as the shipment ID)
  • Shopify (From custom attributes, saved as a distinct Amazon reference)


Couriers which use the Amazon Order ID:

  • Amazon Shipping
  • Amazon Buy Shipping
  • Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment
  • Whistl (when using Amazon Prime services)


Channels which save the Amazon Item IDs:

  • Amazon


Couriers which use the Amazon Item IDs:

  • Whistl (when using Amazon Prime services)


Debugging Issues

Amazon Order IDs are pulled from one of 4 places:

  1. Shipment ID
  2. Order ID
  3. Alternate 3rd Reference
  4. Amazon Reference

All of these fields can be viewed on the advanced dashboard. 


Amazon Item IDs are currently not visible in Shiptheory. If you seen an error like the one in the screenshot below you will need to contact support and they will help you remediate the issue.
